Job Description

As a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse with CrossMed Healthcare Staffing, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to labor and delivery patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians, and document patient responses and outcomes.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  • Participate in emergency situations, such as code blues and postpartum hemorrhages.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control protocols and ensuring proper equipment function.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members, providing education and support as needed.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 1-2 years of experience in labor and delivery nursing.
  • A current RN license in the state of Arizona.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull equipment and supplies as needed.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
