Position Description:

Surgical Technologists First Assistants play a vital role in the operating room, providing critical support to surgeons and other medical professionals. As a Surgical Technologist First Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with surgical procedures, maintaining a safe and efficient operating environment, and ensuring the highest level of patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist surgeons and other medical professionals during surgical procedures
  • Maintain a safe and efficient operating environment
  • Ensure the highest level of patient care and safety
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to achieve optimal outcomes
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and technologies
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years experience as a Surgical Tech or 2-years Surgical Technologist First Assistant - Main OR experience
  • High School or Equivalent
  • Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) with the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Delegation skills
