Responsibilities:
Embark on a rewarding journey with us

- Welcome patients and assist with registration, scheduling, measuring vital signs, and gathering health history.

- Provide assistance to physicians during examinations, minor office procedures, dressing changes, and other first aid tasks.

- Certified medical assistants may be involved in administering immunizations or injections.

- Support patients with prescription requests, manage pharmacy callbacks, process provider orders, and maintain accurate charting and filing.

- Conduct onsite laboratory tests, including EKGs, pulmonary function tests, blood glucose monitoring, and urine pregnancy tests.

- Ensure examination rooms are clean, warm, and inviting for patient visits.

- Deliver exceptional customer service that embodies the CARE values of Duly Health and Care.

- Occasional travel to assist other local clinics may be necessary.

Qualifications:
The Skills and Experiences You Bring

- High school diploma or GED is required.

- Completion of a Medical Assistant educational program or relevant higher education courses in health sciences or equivalent experience.

- CPR certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire is required.

- Phlebotomy certification may be required to be completed within 90 days of hire.

- Previous experience as a Medical Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant, Certified Nursing Assistant, Emergency Medical Technician, or two years of experience in a medical office assisting with patient care is preferred.

- Familiarity with electronic medical records is advantageous.

- Recent graduates from health sciences programs seeking patient care experience and aspiring to pursue a career in healthcare are encouraged to apply.
