A healthcare facility in New York is seeking an experienced OB Scrub Technician to join their team.
Responsibilities:
* Assist nursing personnel in providing patient care in the labor and delivery suite
* Serve as the scrub technician in Cesarean Sections and selected OB/GYN procedures
* Maintain a safe environment and ensure proper utilization of resources
* Direct and perform cleaning, maintenance, and processing of instruments and equipment
* Restock and prepare rooms within the unit
Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years of experience in the current field
* Certification required
* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Work Schedule:
* Every other weekend
* 36 hours per week, with a guarantee of 24 hours per week
Unit Details:
* 22-bed Snuggery with a 1:1 labor and 1:3 M/B nurse-patient ratio
* COVID vaccine no longer required, but COVID prescreen is required
Note:
* Travelers cannot be residents of the following counties: Warren, Washington, Fulton, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Albany, Columbia, Greene, Dutchess, Ulster
