Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Travel CT Technologist to join our team. As a Travel CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing computed tomography scans and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform computed tomography scans on patients to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Prepare patients for scans by explaining procedures, positioning patients, and ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Operate CT scanners and other medical equipment to produce high-quality images.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information, scan results, and other relevant data.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical imaging technologies and techniques.

Requirements:

  • One to three years of experience as a CT Technologist preferred.
  • Other certifications may be required for this position.
  • Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and follow verbal instructions.
  • PC skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Demands:

  • Remain in a stationary position for extended periods.
  • Move about and move equipment as needed.
  • Push, pull, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Working Conditions:

  • Work in a fast-paced medical environment with frequent contact with patients and healthcare professionals.
  • May be required to work irregular schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
