Electromyography Technician Job Description

Southwoods Health is seeking a skilled Electromyography Technician to join our team in the Pain Clinic in Boardman, Ohio. As an Electromyography Technician, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality EMG services that promote the safety and well-being of our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct EMG tests to measure electrical activity in peripheral nerves using electromyography instruments.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and effective treatment plans.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff to provide excellent patient care.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of EMG tests and results.

Requirements:

  • Electromyography Technologist certification from The American Association of Electro Diagnostic Technologists.
  • AHA BLS certification.
