Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineer to join our team. As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality software delivery through test automation, database testing, and API testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts for web-based functional, regression, integration, and API testing using tools like Selenium, PHPUnit, Cypress, and JMeter.
  • Work closely with developers to identify and resolve bugs, performance issues, and security vulnerabilities.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries and PL/SQL scripts to validate database transactions and ensure data integrity.
  • Conduct API testing using Postman, SoapUI, or similar tools to verify RESTful services.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD for automated testing.
  • Monitor and analyze application performance, identifying potential bottlenecks in databases and backend services.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in software quality assurance, preferably in web-based applications.
  • Expertise in PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter.
  • Experience with Oracle databases, including writing SQL queries, PL/SQL scripts, and understanding schema design.
  • Hands-on experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, PHPUnit, Cypress, JMeter).
  • Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman and SoapUI.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD).
  • Experience with performance testing and identifying database bottlenecks is a plus.
