Job ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking highly skilled Medical Care Professionals to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide top-notch medical care and treatment to patients under the supervision of a physician.
- Diagnose and manage patient conditions using medical and surgical equipment.
- Present patient data to supervising physicians, making recommendations for diagnostic and therapeutic regimens.
- Arrange patient admissions and discharges as directed by supervising physicians.
- Perform rounds and record patient progress notes.
- Provide health care instructions and guidance to patients, family members, and significant others.
- Order laboratory, radiological, and diagnostic studies.
- Administer injections and dispense medications.
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in nursing and completion of an approved nurse practitioner training program. Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in a related field is also required. Licensure with the state of Alabama as a nurse practitioner and registered nurse is necessary.
Alternatively, applicants may hold completion of an accredited physician assistant training program as approved and accepted by the University of South Alabama, with licensure with the state of Alabama to practice as a Physician Assistant within two months of employment.
