Job Summary

This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of buildings and facilities. The successful candidate will perform a variety of tasks, including cleaning floors, walls, and windows, as well as performing routine maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean and maintain buildings and facilities, including floors, walls, windows, and other surfaces.
  • Facilities Management: Perform routine maintenance activities, such as checking and replacing filters, and notifying management of any issues or concerns.
  • Supply Management: Requisition and manage supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.
  • Event Support: Assist with setting up and removing decorations, tables, chairs, ladders, and scaffolding for events such as banquets and meetings.
  • Grounds Maintenance: Mow and trim lawns and shrubbery, and clear debris from grounds.
  • Security: Operate security systems, open buildings, and secure buildings as required.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
  • Experience: Six months to one-year related experience.
  • Skills: Ability to use email systems, word processing, and spreadsheet software; ability to communicate effectively with others; ability to work under pressure and make decisions.
Work Environment

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to be subject to mechanical and electrical hazards, extreme temperatures, and humidity. The job requires standing, walking, and lifting or carrying ten pounds or less, as well as frequent bending, squatting, and kneeling.
