Job Title: LPN Weekend Shift

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at CareGivers Home Care. This part-time position offers flexibility and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our pediatric home care clients.

Job Summary:

This LPN position is responsible for providing high-quality patient care to our pediatric clients in the Elmira, NY area. As an LPN, you will work under the direction of a registered nurse to provide preventive, supportive, and rehabilitative activities in accordance with the Plan of Care and the Plan of Treatment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide client health care services primarily on a part-time, intermittent basis
  • Observe, record, and report changes in the client's condition and responses to treatment
  • Prepare and submit timely documentation as required by CareGivers policy
  • Participate in case conferences and in-service education programs as requested
Requirements:
  • Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse currently licensed to practice in New York State
  • At least six months experience as an LPN or RN and/or competent in knowledge and skills based on successful completion of the pre-employment nursing test and demonstration of skills
  • Current certification in Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is required
  • Must be able to provide a reliable means of transportation and may be required to possess a valid drivers license
