Job Title: Drainage Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Drainage Engineer to join our team at Kiewit Corporation. As a key member of our Design Engineering Services Group, you will be responsible for designing and developing drainage systems for transportation projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop drainage systems for transportation projects, including stormwater management and flood control systems.
  • Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic analyses to determine the capacity of drainage systems.
  • Develop detailed design plans, specifications, and estimates for drainage systems.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure that drainage systems meet project requirements and are constructed safely and efficiently.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of hydrology and hydraulics, including stormwater management and flood control systems.
  • Experience with drainage design software, such as HEC-1, HEC-HMS, and SWMM.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
