We are seeking a skilled Facilities Painter to join our team at Collington. As a key member of our facilities department, you will be responsible for maintaining our painting tools and equipment, as well as ensuring that our facilities are well-maintained and attractive.
Key Responsibilities- Preventative Maintenance: Perform ongoing preventative maintenance on painting tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Surface Preparation: Prepare walls and other surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, and removing old paint.
- Painting: Paint surfaces according to instructions using various tools and techniques.
- Health and Safety: Adhere to all health and safety precautions and partner with the facility team to ensure regulatory requirements are established and maintained.
- Facility Maintenance: Support the facility department by helping to keep track of work orders, communicating concerns in a timely manner, and partnering with the facility team to ensure regulatory requirements are established and maintained.
- Paint Mixing and Matching: Mix and match paint, stain, and other finishes to job specifications.
- Experience: 1+ years of experience in painting and maintenance.
- Skills: Ability to use painting tools and equipment, knowledge of painting techniques and materials, and strong attention to detail.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
