Job Title: School Bus Driver

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious School Bus Driver to join our team at Kobussen Buses Ltd. As a School Bus Driver, you will be responsible for transporting students to and from school, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the journey.

Responsibilities:
  • Drive vehicles over specified routes or to specified destinations according to time schedules, complying with traffic regulations to ensure a smooth and safe ride for passengers.
  • Handle passenger emergencies or disruptions, and report delays or accidents to the appropriate authorities.
  • Advise passengers to be seated and orderly while on vehicles, and regulate heating, lighting, and ventilating systems for passenger comfort.
  • Inspect vehicles and check gas, oil, and water levels prior to departure, and maintain the cleanliness of the bus or motor coach.
Requirements:
  • 21+ years old
  • Valid driver's license for the last 3 years
  • Able to perform the physical requirements of the position, including the safe operation of the assigned vehicle
  • Able to read and understand route sheets and simple instructions
  • Effective communication with passengers, parents, and school officials
  • Able to maintain passenger counts and fairly implement bus rules without discrimination
  • Able to work in a team environment and take direction from supervisors
