Job Summary: We seek an experienced Healthcare Administrator who can lead our team effectively, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and compliance with federal and local regulations. The ideal candidate must possess excellent communication skills, be able to manage multiple priorities, and foster a culture of warmth and positivity throughout the facility.
Responsibilities:
- Day-to-Day Operations: Direct the daily activities of the facility, guaranteeing adherence to established policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Leadership and Guidance: Assist department directors in developing and implementing departmental policies, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Staff Management: Conduct regular meetings with staff to discuss survey findings, develop plans of correction, and ensure employee competence.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all employees, residents, visitors, and the public follow facility-established policies and procedures, maintaining a safe and clean environment.
- Care Coordination: Collaborate with department directors to plan and implement in-service training classes, ensuring staff receives ongoing education and development.
Qualifications:
- Educational Requirements: A Bachelor's Degree in Public Health Administration or Business Administration is preferred, along with a current active license to practice as a Nursing Home Administrator.
- Professional Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a supervisor role, preferably in healthcare, with knowledge of reimbursement regulations and nursing practices.
- Skills and Abilities: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, ability to read and interpret financial records, and flexibility to handle multiple priorities.
