Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough nutritional assessments of patients and develop individualized nutrition plans
Provide nutrition counseling to patients and their families, focusing on diabetes and other diagnoses
Serve as a nutrition information resource for healthcare professionals and the community
Implement and maintain current education materials for patients, families, and medical professionals

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Dietetics from an Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics-approved program
Commission on Dietetic Registration certification
Preferred certification in a specialty area
