High School Spanish Teacher

The Ambridge Area School District is seeking a highly qualified Spanish teacher to join our team of dedicated educators. As a Spanish teacher, you will be responsible for creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic excellence and cultural awareness.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Establish clear expectations and communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Assess student progress and adjust instruction to meet individual needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum and instructional strategies.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in teaching and learning.
- Bachelor's degree in Spanish or a related field.
- Pennsylvania State Teaching Certificate in Spanish.
- Act 34/151/114/126/168 clearances/certifications.
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Master's degree in Spanish or a related field.
- Experience teaching Spanish in a high school setting.
- Knowledge of curriculum design and instructional strategies.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
