About the Role

As a Medical Scribe at UNC Health Care, you will play a vital role in supporting our healthcare team by documenting patient information and assisting with clinical tasks. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic organization that values diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and complete electronic medical records
• Document patient interactions and clinical information
• Assist with medication reconciliation and procedure documentation
• Provide communication support to healthcare providers
• Meet annual training requirements and maintain confidentiality agreements

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Medical terminology education or experience preferred
• CMA certification or other medical experience a plus

Work Environment

This is a full-time position with a standard 40-hour workweek. The salary range is $24.63 per hour, with pay determined by experience and internal equity. The work schedule is day shift, and the location is UNC Complex Care at Garner.
