Foster Farms is seeking a skilled Refrigeration Specialist to join our team. As a Refrigeration Specialist, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of refrigeration systems and equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and monitor refrigeration systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Assist in the repair and maintenance of refrigeration equipment and support systems.
- Maintain a comprehensive preventive maintenance program for all refrigeration and refrigeration-related equipment.
- Ensure the safe and efficient operation of boilers, scalders, plant heat, air conditioning, ventilation, and related equipment.
- Assure the safety and integrity of all facility fire protection systems.
- Perform major repairs on refrigeration motor compressors, valves, and related equipment.
- Operate cutting equipment, including oxygen and acetylene cutting torches, and perform welding tasks.
- Knowledge of electrical principles and production equipment, including process controls, line equipment, and fabrication.
- Perform general safety procedures and regulations.
- Install and maintain refrigeration and electrical equipment as required.
- Must possess all the abilities of a Refrigeration Mechanic "B".
- Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of electrical principles and production equipment.
