**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Assume responsibility and accountability for a group of patients, providing care through the continued utilization of the nursing process in collaboration with other health team members.
  • Meet the standards required by regulating agencies for managing all assigned personnel, supplies, and equipment in the unit.
  • Process information in the Center's computer and information system as required in performing job responsibilities.

**Qualifications:**

  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with current licensure as a registered nurse in the state of North Carolina.
  • Minimum one year OB experience as an OB RN, with certification in fetal monitoring, NRP, BLS, and STABLE preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of current OB trends and techniques in nursing appropriate to the practice setting, with Labor and Delivery experience preferred.
