Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Saint Louis Public Schools. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and providing prevention, assessment, and remediation services for students who exhibit communication difficulties in the areas of speech, voice, fluency, and/or language.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with communication disorders
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students' communication needs
  • Provide speech and language therapy services to students in a variety of settings, including classrooms and clinics
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement strategies to support students' communication development
  • Stay current with best practices and research in the field of speech-language pathology
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Communication Disorders or related field
  • Current certification or licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Experience working with students with communication disorders
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
Working Conditions

The Speech Language Pathologist will work in a typical interior/office environment with minimal exposure to physical risk.
