We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Clinical Technician II to join our Emergency Department team at Southcoast Health System, Inc. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including phlebotomy, EKG, and minor invasive procedures, under the direct supervision of the Emergency Department Manager or Designee.
- Identify, escalate, and notify clinical staff for lethal cardiac monitor rhythm alarms.
- Start upper extremity peripheral IVs under the direction of nursing.
- Conduct patient interviews and provide clerical support, including patient quick registration, data/order entry, minor transcription of orders, and collation of medical records.
- Equal to completion of four years of high school plus specialized courses and training.
- Minimum 2 years of working paramedic experience.
- Current Paramedic License, BLS, and ACLS certification required.
- PALS and MOAB certification required within one year of hire.
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID-19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.
