Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Sonographer to join our team at the Joanne Knight Breast Health Center/Mary Lee Hermann Breast Imaging Suite at Barnes Jewish Hospital. As a Breast Sonography Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform ultrasound imaging examinations, including abdominal, small parts, and obstetrical studies, to adult and pediatric patients for diagnosis and treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders.
  • Assist with needle procedures, such as biopsies, drainages, and needle placements.
  • Ensure proper function and readiness of all equipment.
  • Document procedures accurately and maintain high-quality images.
Requirements
  • Associate or trade school degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field.
  • RDMS or equivalent certification.
  • ARRT preferred but not required.
  • Less than 2 years of experience in breast sonography.
