Job Description

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Grants Specialist to join our team at Gateway Community Health Center, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing proposals, maintaining funding databases, and ensuring grant files are complete and compliant with programmatic and fund management requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage grant proposals, applications, and supporting documents
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of grant and fund records
  • Identify grant funding opportunities and assist with writing and submitting grant proposals
  • Maintain proficient knowledge of Center's history and programs
  • Develop and maintain a grant-tracking and report management system
  • Prepare work plans and timelines to ensure submission of state or federal program reports in a timely manner
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in public administration, business administration, public health, or related field
  • Two years of work experience
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred

Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to gather information and analyze data
  • Ability to professionally and accurately represent the Center, its mission, philosophy, and services
  • Demonstrates advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Publisher, and PowerPoint)
