Job Description

As an Atlas Air First Officer, you will be responsible for assisting the Captain in the safe and efficient conduct of flights. This includes ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, maintaining accurate flight records, and adhering to high standards of professionalism and customer service.

You will also be required to complete regular training and professional development programs to enhance your skills and stay up-to-date with industry developments.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be eligible for this position, you must hold a current restricted or unrestricted FAA ATP certificate with an airplane category multi-engine class rating and English proficiency endorsement. You should also possess a valid FAA Class 1 Medical Certificate and an FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.

In addition, you will need to have a current and valid passport with no restrictions on international travel, including the ability to obtain entry visas for locations where Atlas Air operates. Legally authorized to work in the United States and possess proper working documents are also essential requirements.

A minimum age of 21 years old (for R-ATP) or 23 years old (for ATP) is necessary, and you should be able to pass a 10-year security background check and Pilot Records Improvement Act (PRIA) evaluation. A thorough working knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations applicable to FAR Part 121 Operations is also required.
