Job Description

We are a Milwaukee-based custom manufacturer and designer of fixtures and furniture seeking an experienced Financial Manager to join our team.

This role will report directly to the President, overseeing all financial and administrative duties across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate and timely monthly and annual financial statements for each division, subsidiary, and consolidated entity, providing insightful analysis of income, expenses, and earnings.
  • Develop and implement effective reporting tools using INFOR Cloud Suite Industrial 'Syteline', ensuring data-driven decision-making.
  • Maintain the general ledger, ensuring significant accounts are balanced and reconciled to subsidiary ledgers and third-party statements.
  • Lead budget preparation and forecasting, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Timely complete and file tax returns, including sales and use tax returns for various states.
  • Serve as retirement plan administrator, providing expertise in benefits administration.
  • Act as liaison between employees, staff, and external HR, benefit plan services, and payroll providers.
  • Maintain organized records, both physical and electronic.
  • Manage annual renewals of commercial insurance and employee benefit plans.
  • Oversee cash conversion cycle and treasury functions, ensuring optimal liquidity.
  • Advise management on insurance coverage for property losses and potential liabilities.
  • Prepare reports required by customers and regulatory agencies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field, supplemented by at least 6 years of experience in accounting; CPA certification preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Infor CloudSuite Industrial (SyteLine) is highly valued.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas effectively.
