Position Overview:
In this role, under the guidance of a healthcare provider, you will conduct EEG tests on patients both awake and asleep. You will be responsible for performing technical tasks related to electroencephalographic (EEG) scans, supplying physicians with critical information regarding neurological and nervous system functions.
Reporting Structure:
Reports to: Cardiopulmonary Director
FLSA Status: Non-exempt
Qualifications:
Educational Requirements:
X High school diploma or equivalent X Required
X Graduate of a Program in Discipline X Required
Essential Skills:
Exceptional communication skills are necessary to collaborate with physicians in delivering patient care and diagnostic testing. Experience with EMGs and nerve conduction studies is preferred but not mandatory.
Certifications:
X Basic Life Support - within 30 days of hire
*ACLS certification is accepted as it is a higher-level certification
X EEG certification is required upon hire.
X Registry in discipline is preferred.
