Executive Housekeeper

The Inn at Swarthmore is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Housekeeper to join our team. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hospitality in our hotel.
Responsibilities:- Recruit, train, and supervise housekeeping staff to ensure excellent service delivery.
- Develop and implement effective housekeeping schedules and procedures to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with established standards and address any deficiencies promptly.
- Manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment to minimize waste and control costs.
- Develop and manage the housekeeping department budget, including labor costs, supplies, and equipment expenses.
- Respond promptly and effectively to guest feedback and complaints related to housekeeping services.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination of guest services and satisfaction.
- Implement training and development programs to enhance the skills and performance of housekeeping staff.
- 2+ years of supervisory experience in housekeeping, preferably in a hotel environment.
- High school diploma and/or equivalent work experience.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
This position requires extended periods of walking, standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Flexible working hours, including nights and weekends, may be required to accomplish tasks and meet workload demands during peak periods.
