Job Summary
Oklahoma Heart Hospital is seeking a skilled Pharmacist to join our team in a PRN capacity. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective use of medications in our hospital setting.
Responsibilities
- Fills orders for parenteral and enteral medications, monitors patient drug therapies, and provides drug information to healthcare teams.
- Supervises and directs support personnel to ensure efficient and accurate medication management.
- Participates in education and training programs to enhance patient and staff knowledge of medication therapy.
- Contributes to quality improvement initiatives to optimize patient outcomes and medication safety.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited school of pharmacy.
- Licensure/Certification: Registered pharmacist with current Oklahoma licensure and BLS certification preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of one year hospital experience preferred.
- Working Knowledge: Ability to interpret, assess, compound, and dispense all pharmaceuticals, as well as knowledge of appropriate drug information sources and data processing operations.
