Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Acute Care team at the University of Utah Health. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care to individuals with complex cardiovascular conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patient status and develop individualized care plans to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Implement clinical nursing interventions to modify symptoms and improve patient well-being.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and achieve optimal health outcomes.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote health literacy and self-management.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Utah or ability to obtain within 90 days.
  • One year of experience in cardiovascular acute care or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Experience with electronic medical records and other healthcare technologies.
  • Knowledge of quality improvement principles and practices.
