Job Summary

Alyeska Resort is seeking a skilled Laborer to join our team. As a Laborer, you will be responsible for performing general construction, woodworking, and finishing tasks around the resort.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Loading and unloading tools and materials
  • Assembling scaffolding and equipment
  • Digging and filling pits during construction
  • Clearing debris from construction sites
  • Operating light and heavy equipment
  • Cleaning up worksites and disposing of hazardous materials
  • Assisting welders, carpenters, and other tradespeople on-site
  • Transporting materials and equipment
  • Following instructions from supervisors to perform manual labor tasks
  • Setting up and transferring temporary structures
  • Reporting equipment issues and safety concerns

Requirements:

  • Good customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work in extreme weather conditions and with fumes
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules and instructions
  • Basic math skills and ability to compute rates and ratios
  • Ability to deal with problems involving multiple variables
