The Hospitals of Providence is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in El Paso, Texas. As a key member of our Perioperative Services team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient coordination and implementation of nursing care in the Operating Room.
Responsibilities- Support the Director/Administrative Director of Perioperative Services in coordinating nursing care and managing the unit in their absence.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and efficient surgical procedures.
- Develop and implement nursing care plans to meet the unique needs of patients undergoing surgery.
- Provide education and training to staff members on best practices and new procedures.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current state licensure or eligibility to do so.
- CPR certification.
- AORN Certification preferred.
- ACLS or PALS optional.
