Job Summary

The Hospitals of Providence is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in El Paso, Texas. As a key member of our Perioperative Services team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient coordination and implementation of nursing care in the Operating Room.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Director/Administrative Director of Perioperative Services in coordinating nursing care and managing the unit in their absence.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and efficient surgical procedures.
  • Develop and implement nursing care plans to meet the unique needs of patients undergoing surgery.
  • Provide education and training to staff members on best practices and new procedures.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current state licensure or eligibility to do so.
  • CPR certification.
  • AORN Certification preferred.
  • ACLS or PALS optional.
