We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician II to join our team at Baptist Memorial Health Care. As a Pharmacy Technician II, you will play a critical role in providing pharmaceutical care services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Procure, handle, prepare, distribute, charge/credit, and dispose of medication safely and accurately.
- Manage own pharmacy practice effectively, including inventory management and automation/equipment maintenance.
- Assist pharmacists in providing pharmaceutical care to patients, including education and training.
- Process and prepare sterile products for dispensing.
- Contribute to goals, programs, and report cards for the operational unit and entity.
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience as required by the position.
- Previous experience in a setting involving medication distribution.
- CPHT certification and state registration required.
- Computer skills, typing skills, calculation skills, and communication skills.
