About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team at Wellpath. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' physical, psychological, and social dimensions to develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Implement treatment programs under the supervision of RNs, administering medications and performing diagnostic tests as needed.
  • Collaborate with healthcare practitioners to ensure effective patient care and respond to health emergencies within standard guidelines.
  • Assist in medical or minor surgical procedures, implement nutrition and therapeutic diet plans, and document nursing encounters using SOAP charting.
  • Attend mandatory staff meetings and training sessions to demonstrate a commitment to continuous professional development and adherence to policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Prefer a minimum of one (1) year clinic experience.
  • Have and maintain current licensure as a Licensed Practical/Licensed Vocational Nurse within the state of employment.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain CPR certification.
