Job Responsibilities

As an Outpatient Therapist at Cumberland County Guidance Center, you will play a vital role in providing assessment and treatment services to individuals and families in need. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing recovery-focused co-occurring services, developing recovery goals with clients, and participating in community mental health activities
  • Coordinating and integrating treatment with other therapists, psychiatry, case management, and other service providers
  • Maintaining credentials and referring clients to appropriate services when needed
What We Are Looking For
  • Master's degree in a mental health discipline from an accredited university
  • NJ LAC/LSW required; LPC/LCSW preferred
  • Experience in group, family, and individual therapy
  • Valid automobile driver's license with a good Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
