Door Assembler

We are seeking a skilled Door Assembler to join our team at Meeks Lumber & Hardware, a Division of US LBM. As a Door Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling pre-hung door components, stocking lumber and materials, and loading finished products onto carts or pallets.

• Assemble pre-hung door components under the direction of line leaders
• Stock doors, frames, plates, and stock components for door assembly
• Load and band finished materials on carts or pallets
• Receive incoming products, commodities, and materials
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Assist in setting up component assembly processes
• Monitor production workflow and assist other areas as needed
• Operate equipment necessary for assembly
• Adhere to safety rules and regulations

• High school education or equivalent work experience
• Prior carpentry experience is helpful
• Ability to read a tape measure and use a hammer
• Ability to learn to operate equipment such as routers, saws, presses, and staple guns
• Physical demands include exposure to extreme temperatures, lifting up to 50 lbs. on a repetitive basis and up to 100 lbs. occasionally
