Your Role:
We are in search of an Assembly Technician to enhance our expanding Production team. As an Assembly Technician at KCF Technologies, you will collaborate with a dynamic team in one of the most innovative sectors in technology. The ideal candidate will be a results-driven team player focused on precision, accuracy, and follow-through. Your responsibilities will include executing a diverse range of electro-mechanical assembly tasks on assemblies or sub-assemblies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct a variety of routine and complex electro-mechanical assembly tasks, including troubleshooting and repairs.
- Adjust, align, and perform tests using testing fixtures or non-diagnostic electronic devices.
- Validate the design, fabrication, and setup of assemblies.
- Utilize advanced skills to wire, assemble, test, troubleshoot, and calibrate moderately complex equipment and sub-assemblies, focusing on electrical interconnect, mechanical, pneumatic, fluid flow, or vacuum technologies.
- Disassemble, modify, rework, refurbish, reassemble, and test units as necessary.
- Follow work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams, engineering specifications, sketches, and production operation sheets to construct electro-mechanical assemblies, sub-assemblies, and components.
- Maintain a secure, safe, clean, and healthy work environment, adhering to safety and security policies.
- Review and provide feedback on moderately complex reports and manufacturing procedures.
- Complete additional tasks or special projects as assigned by KCF leadership.
- Highly organized and self-directed.
- Basic computer proficiency (knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in electronic manufacturing and assembly.
- IPC J-STD-001 soldering certification.
- IPC/WHMA-A-620 Cable and Wire Harness certification.
- IPC-7711/7721 certification for rework, modification, and repair of electronic assemblies.
