Automotive Detailer

At Miller Auto Plaza, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Automotive Detailer to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
The Automotive Detailer will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to internal and external customers, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and ensuring that all vehicles are detailed to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service to internal and external customers promptly and professionally.
- Maintain partnership with all departments as necessary.
- Communicate necessary information to pertinent partners.
- Clean interior and exterior of vehicles.
- Wash vehicle exterior, clean interior and exterior windows, and wipe down doorjambs.
- Apply wax to auto body, and wipe or buff surface.
- Vacuum interior of vehicles to remove loose dirt and debris.
- Clean upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces, using appropriate cleaning agents, applicators, and cleaning devices.
- Apply revitalizers and preservation agents to interior vinyl or leather surfaces and treat fabrics with spot- and stain-resistant chemicals.
- Apply special-purpose cleaners to remove foreign materials which normal cleaning procedures do not remove, utilizing experience and judgment and following product manufacturer's recommendations.
- Inspect vehicles for noticeable defects, such as dents, scratches, torn upholstery, and poor mechanical operation and communicate with manager.
- Restore appearance of engine area, rugs and upholstery, and painted surfaces. Use touch-up paint, dyes, and other appropriate materials.
- Fill vehicle with fuel as directed by management.
- Apply dressing on tires and tire wells.
- Maintain showroom and stock vehicles in clean and presentable condition at all times.
- Remove all window stickers on sold vehicles.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of all work areas.
