Inplant Ink Technician

As an Inplant Ink Technician at INX International, you will play a key role in maintaining our excellent relationship with customers and ensuring the smooth operation of our on-site ink rooms. Your responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining a positive customer experience through effective communication and problem-solving skills
• Coordinating job schedules with customers and reviewing production requirements to ensure timely completion
• Providing technical support and performing color matching, ink production, and dispensing ink as needed
• Evaluating production requirements based on customer schedule changes and controlling work-off processes
• Managing inventory and conducting monthly consignment counts to maintain accurate records
• Estimating job costs and providing press-side technical support to customers
• Completing monthly reports and performing quality control tests on incoming and site-manufactured batches
• FOLLOWING ALL SAFETY REQUIREMENTS AND DEMONSTRATING DATA ENTRY ACCURACY
• Manufacturing batches under 100 pounds

Qualifications and Requirements

• A High School graduate or G.E.D. equivalent
• Ability to match colors effectively and pass a color vision test
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with peers and customers
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite programs and other computer skills
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. frequently
• Good organization skills and ability to work independently
• 2 to 5 years of work-related experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Spectrophotometer knowledge and experience helpful
• Technically qualified to service Offset Sheetfed products
• Familiar with X-Rite IQC
• Flexible packaging knowledge and flexographic printing knowledge
• Solvent ink knowledge and previous lab, inplant, and warehouse experience
• SAP Knowledge and inplant pressroom experience
• College degree
