Inplant Ink Technician

As an Inplant Ink Technician at INX International, you will play a key role in maintaining our excellent relationship with customers and ensuring the smooth operation of our on-site ink rooms. Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining a positive customer experience through effective communication and problem-solving skills
- Coordinating job schedules with customers and reviewing production requirements to ensure timely completion
- Providing technical support and performing color matching, ink production, and dispensing ink as needed
- Evaluating production requirements based on customer schedule changes and controlling work-off processes
- Managing inventory and conducting monthly consignment counts to maintain accurate records
- Estimating job costs and providing press-side technical support to customers
- Completing monthly reports and performing quality control tests on incoming and site-manufactured batches
- FOLLOWING ALL SAFETY REQUIREMENTS AND DEMONSTRATING DATA ENTRY ACCURACY
- Manufacturing batches under 100 pounds
Qualifications and Requirements
- A High School graduate or G.E.D. equivalent
- Ability to match colors effectively and pass a color vision test
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with peers and customers
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite programs and other computer skills
- Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. frequently
- Good organization skills and ability to work independently
- 2 to 5 years of work-related experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Spectrophotometer knowledge and experience helpful
- Technically qualified to service Offset Sheetfed products
- Familiar with X-Rite IQC
- Flexible packaging knowledge and flexographic printing knowledge
- Solvent ink knowledge and previous lab, inplant, and warehouse experience
- SAP Knowledge and inplant pressroom experience
- College degree
