Outpatient Bone Marrow Transplant Registered Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Transplant and Cellular Therapy Clinic at St. David's South Austin Medical Center. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for the care of blood and marrow transplant patients, patients with hematologic and oncologic disorders.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide emotional, spiritual, religious, and cultural support to patients and their significant others
  • Apply principles of oncology nursing
  • Consider age-related factors in the assessment, care, and treatment of oncology patients
  • Consider principles of death and dying when caring for terminally ill oncology patients
Requirements:
  • 1 year of clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse
  • Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) – preferred
  • Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License
  • Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Chemotherapy Provider – preferred
  • Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification – preferred
