**Job Summary**

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team at Landus as an Operations Technician. This is a part-time position that offers a rewarding career with excellent benefits for full-time employees.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Greet all customers promptly and courteously, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Maintain and increase sales of agronomy and feed products, grain origination, and marketing with existing customers and grow business with new customers.
  • Assist in all aspects of elevator operations, including receiving and unloading grain, grain drying, measuring grain inventory, and grain train loading.
  • Operate train locomotive and obtain training certificate on locomotive operations, if applicable to the location.
  • Identify potential maintenance problems and complete necessary repairs.
  • Assist in all aspects of fertilizer and chemical operations, including measuring inventory and reporting it to the supervisor.
  • Provide customer service by loading chemical product orders and maintaining equipment.
  • Keep facility clean, safe, and housekeeping records current.

**Requirements**

  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Must be able to move/lift up to 50 pounds; occasionally up to 100 pounds.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Understand the seasonality of an agricultural cooperative and the in-season time commitment.

**Preferred Skills**

  • Good computer skills.
