We are seeking a highly skilled Lobby Attendant to join our team at The Bernstein Companies. As a Lobby Attendant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the hotel lobby remains a pristine and inviting space for all guests.
Key Responsibilities- Welcome guests warmly and provide a friendly and inviting atmosphere.
- Ensure the lobby area is clean, organized, and well-presented at all times.
- Offer guests information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions.
- Provide assistance with luggage, directions, and transportation arrangements.
- Observe lobby activity to ensure the safety and security of guests and staff.
- Work closely with housekeeping and maintenance teams to report any issues or needed repairs.
- Gather guest feedback and relay any concerns or suggestions to management.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of lobby events or special functions as needed.
- Monitor and replenish lobby supplies.
- Ability to interact clearly and courteously with guests, staff, and management.
- A friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Keen eye for cleanliness and organization.
- Capability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to address guest inquiries and resolve issues quickly.
- Willingness to adjust to changing situations and guest needs.
- Familiarity with hotel management systems and basic office equipment.
- Ability to handle the physical demands of the job.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Adherence to the hotel's dress code.
- High School graduate or G.E.D. equivalent required.
- Read, write, and speak English fluently.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in laundry operations or housekeeping is preferred.
