Operating Room Surgical Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team in the Perioperative Surgical Department. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience and be proficient in implementing and evaluating care for patients undergoing diagnostic and invasive surgical procedures.
Job DescriptionThe Surgical Technologist is an integral member of our inter-professional team, working closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nurses to ensure seamless patient care. Key responsibilities include:
- Implements and evaluates care for patients undergoing diagnostic and invasive surgical procedures.
- Keeps the Perioperative team abreast of procedure needs and progress.
- Identifies complex patient needs by reviewing procedure protocol, physician's request, and assessing physical needs.
- Prioritizes procedure process and supplies for specialty groups of patients.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Graduation from an accredited surgical technology program or equivalent job training.
- Certification in Surgical Technology preferred.
- Certified as a surgical technician or two years of experience in lieu of certification.
- Two years of multispecialty experience, with the ability to function as a clinical expert in at least two service lines and float to other service lines as needed.
