As a Registered Radiology Imaging Specialist, your role will encompass conducting a variety of radiology examinations and procedures across diverse patient demographics.
Your core responsibilities will include:
- Executing general radiology, portable, and fluoroscopic procedures.
- Facilitating the scheduling of patient examinations.
- Informing patients about the procedures and equipment to enhance their comfort and understanding.
- Documenting and reporting any equipment malfunctions to management.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Current registration as a Radiologic Technologist by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists R.T.(R) (ARRT).
- A valid Basic Life Support certification.
- Strong communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Performing a range of radiology procedures including general, portable, and fluoroscopic imaging.
- Producing high-quality images for accurate interpretation.

- Assisting in the scheduling of patient appointments.

- Demonstrating proficient use of radiology equipment in accordance with technical specifications.
- Supporting Radiologists during specialized procedures.
- Managing the acquisition, archiving, and transmission of images.
- Providing guidance and mentorship to new team members and students.
- Engaging in ongoing professional development through training and educational opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Current registration with The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists R.T.(R) (ARRT).
- State licensure required prior to employment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Physical Requirements:
This role necessitates prolonged periods of standing and walking, as well as the ability to lift or assist patients of varying weights and handle equipment regularly.
Personal Protective Equipment:
Adherence to standard precautions and the use of personal protective equipment as necessary.
