Service Transformation Leader

About This Role

Carrier's Commercial HVAC service business is seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to drive transformation projects and processes. The successful candidate will identify and lead initiatives resulting in improved performance, customer satisfaction, and financial results for the service team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Function as the process focal for product start-up and warranty in the CHVAC Americas service network
  • Assess the start-up process, identify improvements needed to streamline and implement improvements, and collaborate with business process counterparts on standard work
  • Develop project plans to expand CCS start-up volume, including distributor relationships, target product segments, target pricing, and CCS resources to support
  • Develop project plans to implement profitable pricing for start-ups, including assessment of typical cost by product type, establish target margin, and implement across the service business
  • Identify potential digital solutions and work closely with digital partners to implement
  • Assess field service warranty history to identify cost improvement opportunities, including field over-investment and factory reimbursement increases needed
  • Perform RRCA on cost of poor quality – assess for trends and reduction opportunities
  • Assess and optimize extended warranty pricing

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 5+ years of experience in Commercial HVAC field service
  • 5+ years of experience assessing complex business issues and driving improvements
  • 5+ years of experience with start-up and warranty processes

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in operations, business, finance, or related fields
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully organize and drive projects
  • Capability to both develop strategies and drive tactical execution
  • Effective analytical skills
  • Superior problem-solving skills and resourcefulness
  • Demonstrated ability to engage at all levels of the organization (tactical to strategic)
  • Ownership and superior ability to drive results
  • Proven ability to manage various project types, including digital technology, service sales, and service operations
  • Working knowledge of practical project management methodologies, best practices, and tools, including Passport and Agile
  • Critical thinker with strong attention to detail
  • Strive for continuous improvement and prioritize time management
  • Effective management and influence of non-direct reporting resources
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Effective use of MS Office tools, PowerPoint, and Excel, project collaboration tools, Asana, and MIRO
