Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Services Representative to join our team at Atlantic Health System. As a key member of our food services team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing cash control, and overseeing the daily operations of our cafeteria or C-store satellite location.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and direction to subordinate staff, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and quality service.
  • Manage cash control, including verifying cash outs, reconciling deposits, and maintaining a proper balance between bills and coins.
  • Operate a cash register, open and close locations daily, and ensure the safety and security of the facility.
  • Maintain familiarity with electronic point of sale (POS) systems, including cash registers, scanners, and basic troubleshooting.
  • Assist in the preparation of work schedules and resolve scheduling problems, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.
  • Provide input to the supervisor concerning the performance of subordinate Food Service Workers, allowing for accurate and fair evaluation of their performance.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of experience as a Food Service Representative or relevant area.
  • Preferred: 4-5 years of work experience in the food industry.
