We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Anthem Memory Care in Maplewood, MN.

Job Summary

As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our residential care apartments, common areas, and facilities. This includes sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors, dusting and cleaning furniture and fixtures, and replenishing paper supplies and soap as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and disinfect resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas
  • Empty trash receptacles and deposit recyclable materials in proper receptacles
  • Operate an electric cart or push a utility cart within the retirement community
  • Report safety concerns and needed repairs to supervisor
  • Change bed linens weekly (or as necessary) for all residential care apartments
  • Attend in-service training workshops and meetings as required
  • Conduct work tasks safely and in compliance with the community's safety program
  • Provide effective and courteous service to all residents, guests, and coworkers
  • Promote and protect the rights of all residents

Requirements

  • Ability to read, speak, and understand English sufficiently to follow directions and communicate with supervisor, co-workers, and residents
  • Some housekeeping experience is desirable but not essential, since on-the-job training will be provided
  • Requires First Aid certification
  • Must receive criminal records clearance from the Department of Justice and FBI
  • Must have health screening and T.B. / CXR clearance
