Psychotherapist

Sun River Health is seeking a skilled Psychotherapist to join our team at our A28 Monticello location. As a Psychotherapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, compassionate care to our patients.

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Psychotherapist to evaluate and treat a diverse caseload of patients with various DSM diagnoses. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to community behavioral health and prior outpatient experience.

• Provide culturally sensitive direct clinical services, including assessment and treatment planning, individual, family, and group psychotherapy, crisis counseling, and community consultation and education.
• Document client progress to maintain a permanent record of client activity according to established methods and procedures.
• Meet monthly targets, contingent on the number of hours worked per week.
• Submit progress notes within 72 hours of services, preferably on the same day of service.
• Identify case management needs of clients and coordinate with other agency staff and community agencies to meet these needs.
• Perform crisis intervention as necessary.
• Coordinate treatment with other community agencies and services.
• Participate in program development and training programs.
• Follow established clinic policies and procedures.
• Maintain appropriate professional standards.

• Master's Degree (MSW or MHC)
• New York State Licensure (LCSW, LMSW, or LMHC)
• Minimum 2 years of work-related experience
• Preferred 5-8 years of work-related experience
• Bi-lingual, Spanish speaking preferred but not required

Sun River Health offers a competitive salary range of $65,000 to $100,000 per year, based on licensure and experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
