Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and project component purchase prices to accurately reflect inventory value for a financial period in Standard Costing process
  • Assist in recruiting and hiring activities to identify top talent for procurement roles
  • Provide training and resources to Purchasing staff to ensure they have the necessary skills to execute their job functions
  • Optimize overall cost of materials by negotiating with suppliers and identifying cost-saving opportunities
  • Support and execute Jabil SCM initiatives and strategies to improve sourcing options and reduce costs
  • Monitor and track suppliers' performance on cost, delivery, and quality
  • Manage materials that are Business Unit specific and/or strategic
  • Develop Supply Chain strategies that meet customer needs and leverage Jabil's capabilities
  • Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to protect Jabil's interests
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • 4-7 years of experience in Supply Chain Management or related field
  • CPM certification preferred
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil's software packages
