Position Overview

The Electrician is responsible for delivering essential services related to the installation, repair, and upkeep of various electrical systems. This role ensures that all tasks are performed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

The Electrician will undertake a range of tasks critical to the distribution and utilization of electrical power across University Health's facilities.

Specific duties include:

  • Designing the layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with building specifications and regulatory standards.
  • Installing, inspecting, testing, repairing, or replacing electrical components such as wiring, conduits, power circuits, switches, controls, lighting fixtures, fuses, resistors, and motors.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • A minimum of two years of experience as a journeyman or apprentice electrician is necessary.
