Job Summary
Med-Trans is seeking a highly skilled Helicopter Pilot to join our team of medical air transportation professionals. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for safely transporting patients to and from medical facilities, working closely with medical experts to ensure the highest level of care.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with medical teams to transport patients to and from medical facilities
- Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches, adhering to FAR and Med-Trans requirements
- Maintain accurate records and documentation, including MTC and regulatory compliance
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, flight crews, and partners to ensure seamless operations
- Provide shift change information to successive pilots and teams, following established protocols
- Meet the requirements for certifications and ongoing training
Requirements
- Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
- Helicopter instrument rating
- Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
- 2,000 Total Flight Hours
- 1,500 Helicopter Hours
- 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours
- 1,000 Turbine Helicopter Hours
- 200 Helicopter Night Flight Hours (Aided or Unaided)
- 200 Instrument Hours (Actual/Hood/SIM)
Preferred Qualifications
- EC135 Experience
